In this process, a total of 100 million pure stem cells are obtained.
Operation date; we can also have samples for derivering stem cells (8-10 hair follicles) and send them to lab. After a month stem cells are ready. The procedure is applied as 2 sessions. 50 million stem cells are injected in each session . 1 month between two sessions
Mesenchymal Stem Cell Therapy
Under general anesthesia, doctor takes 100 ccs (approximate a glass) fat from the patient with liposuction (generally from the hip).
Mesenchymal stem cells are separated with special methods. Approximately 100 million cells are obtained and at least 5% of them are stem cells. Then stem cells are applied to a patient’s scalp.
Mesenchymal stem cell therapy should be done 3 days before the hair transplant or 3 days after the hair transplant.
Indirect Stem Cell Therapy
First local anesthesia is applied. Then small samples are taken from the donor area painlessly (back of the scalp).
(During this patients do not feel any pain)
These samples contain hundreds of thousands of cells that can activate resting hair follicles.
Indirect Stem Cells Treatment device further divides them into smaller to be more absorbable; we called them as micrografts. The doctor prepares the micrografts to be reintroduced to areas of the scalp that are experiencing hair loss. The entire process takes 15-30 minutes. The process involves small scalp injections and is well tolerated. After the treatment patients can move on with their daily life.
As Mesenchymal stem cell therapy indirect stem cell therapy should be done 3 days before the hair transplant or 3 days after the hair transplant.
How the Stem Cells Affect Hair? Is it Really Work?
When hair cells do not work well, the hair follicles stay in the resting phase for a long time and fall into the spill phase instead of the growth phase. Even hair follicles that are damaged over time die completely and baldness occur.
Stem cells provide new cell formation where they are and also supporting to heal damaged cells at the same time. Application of stem cells to the scalp, new cells support existing hair follicles and accelerate hair growth.
